40 Grit - Heads - (6/10)

Ayayay… Modern it is that CD… Not the best condition for me… But a real Bavarian doesn’t know fear or pain, so let’s get started.
40 Grit are acting between groovy hardcore metal and some alternative tendencies, which loosen up the quite heavy music more than a bit, especially when the vocals are concerned, as you can hear in “Ground Zero” and “Three Spaces”. Another asset of the Americans is a song like “Tension”, while I have just not managed to befriend “Serving Time”.
So overall an album that is nor really to my liking, so fans of this style should check out the band for sure, because they are one of the better bands of the genre.
