Fatal Force - s/t

Torben Enevoldsen is back – with his new band FATAL FORCE. After the second SECTION A record and his third complete instrumental album, he wrote the Hard Rock material you’ll find on the debut album “Fatal Force” in the stores now. The Danish guitar-player gathered Mats Levèn (a.o. TREAT, AT VANCE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on vocals and Daniel Flores (a.o. XSAVIOR, MIND’S EYE, SPEEDY GONZALES) on drums for the audio visual support.

The whole thing sounds very acceptable, partly ballad-like, partly full of Heavy Rock and like AXEL RUDI PELL filled with a mass of solos by the master himself. Normally I’m not into Hard and Heavy Rock, so I can’t come up with actual comparisons. I read in another review for this album that WHITESNAKEs “1987”-periode is a good way to start, though.

And that’s pretty much everything I can tell you about this one. Give it a try! If you like Hard and Heavy Rock it may be worth it. (Online June 4, 2006)
