While songs like "Between You and Me", "My Life With You" and so on may seem like sappy love song titles, they are colourful and sincere. Mike plays from the heart which not everyone can do. Some guitar players play to show off. Mike plays this because his heart is truly into it. It is very easy to sit back and reflect on your memories of past or present love.
The 11 tracks are more upbeat than his debut "Thank You"-release. This is also compelling and rich in sound with plenty of sensitivity. Mike has struck gold once again. (Online July 2, 2002)
