Huh? Has my CD-player freaked out now? A THE CROWN-CD and nearly 50 minutes playing time?
Strange, but true. But just like you had expected of the Northmen, you get a furious mix from Death Metal, Thrash, slight Punk-influences and a load of MOTÖRHEAD that nearly blows your head off.
With very few exceptions they come crashing through all barriers and fire off heavy riffs, barking vocals and thundering drums, making sensitive souls flee in horror. The only exceptions are the melodic/slow-paced "Dead Man's Song" and the long "Killing Star", which is begun and ended with flattering guitars and in-between shows a good mix between mid-tempo and speed.
So this one is absolutely NOT for friends of Doom or Melodic Metal, but for all who like their Metal really heavy and fast, this album is essential!
