The fourth album by KAMELOT (the first, where vocalist Khan also participated in the song-writing) is a true milestone of Power Metal, because what is celebrated here cannot be found often!!

After an intro the title-track is let loose and showcases that the music of KAMELOT and the outstanding vocals of Khan harmonise perfectly in a speedy Power Metal-hammer of first class!

But apart from the "usual" KAMELOT-ingredients, you also can find other influences, which suit the Floridians very well, be it Irish/folky melodies like with "The Shadow Of Uther" or the outstanding "Nights Of Arabia", which delivers acoustically what the title promises and would be the ideal soundtrack for a Metal-version of the Arabian Night-stories.

The fans of ballads also get their share, especially "A Sailorman's Hymn" sounds highly convincing as it is completely free of cliches, but very, very emotional.

As sorry as I had been for CONCEPTION, this genre could not have gotten a better combination than Youngblood/Khan!
