ENTHRONED demonstrating us again, that the most intensive Black Metal hasn't to be from Scandinavia. Meanwhile, they deliver us their fifth album and I think, there hasn't be a bad one ever. Okay, I don't know the previous record "Armored Bestial Hell", but I will fetch that later, because the Belgian offer us a really blastphemic masterpiece, they don't care about any trends and they thrashing down their black hymns alike the devil.

Mainly, this is presented in a merciless tempo but always with suitable mighty slow parts! It is impossible to withdraw from the intensity and merciless of the songs. They come over you like a plague and destroy you without mercy. This blazing helltrip is just super-evil and with this, some overvalued acts look like very absurdly. I will not mention some names. You know who you are!

Majestic compositions like "Spawn From The Abyss" or the just divinely "Graced By Evil Blood" show the competitors what's going on! On my first pressing, there are three bonus tracks, which suit to the high level.

By the way, don't expect some keyboards, but nevertheless, they are very baleful and dark! An upcoming classic record!

Founded in 1993, the hellish group took three years until they delivered their great debut "Prophecies Of Pagan Fire" to the black freaks. Before that, they had the "Scared By Dark Wings" EP, a split with ANCIENT RITES. 1997, they released "Towards The Skullthrone Of Satan", which belongs also to the tradition of Black Metal-Classics. Then, in 1998, followed the "Regie Sathanas" EP, followed by the divinely longplayer "The Apocalypse Manifesto" (1999), a pretty manifest of destruction and speeding! And then they released "Armored Bestial Hell" in the year 2001. (Online October 4, 2002)
