This is Power Metal, yup, but not even slightly reminiscent of HammaGamma Arctovarius, no, no. Rough US-Power Metal, breathing the Eighties with each note is what you hear.
Vocalist/drummer King Fowley gives the compositions his own stamp with his rough voice, "Meet Thy Maker", "Just An Illusion" or "Behind The Castle Walls" are good examples for this.
The biggest point of ctiticism is the rather weak cover-version of SAXON's "Power And The Glory", which should have been scrapped for an original track...
If you don't need a shining production and no singalong-choruses for your audial delight, then "Meet Thy Maker" is the right thing for you, because here you get pure US Metal of the very, very old school!
