Unearth - Endless
Massachusetts Hardcore/Metal based UNEARTH releases this 4 track MCD that unleashes the best of both worlds to make two genres of people happy. This collision of Hardcore and Metal is explosive and violent mixed in there with some rhythmic guitar melodies and harsh vocals that will make you take notice.

The title track is loaded with chuga chuga riffs along with some angry vokills that could have come along the same lineage as Jens Kidman from MESHUGGAH. Call this band and CD new school is a complete insult. These guys come from the old school and blend it in with their brand of musicianship that makes these other wanna be musicians in this genre look pathetic. The furious drumming of Mike Rudberg completely decimates the song that is "Internal War". There are some guitar melodies and structuring in this song that are reminiscent to Fred of MESHUGGAH as well, but they are able to remain focus on who they are and just use their inspiration to further their originality.

Well crafted and enjoyable to listen to, these guys will have no problem making new fans who are tired of the mundane and trendy. This five piece are a bunch of trend killers who are loaded with volatile energy and are just waiting to punish your ears. Prepare for the next generation of anger. (Online October 23, 2002)
