Craft - Terror Propaganda
Well, it really looks like the Swedish label Selbstmord is a great quality one, who only release bands of superior might. After SHINING or ONDSKAPT, we have another proof of that here with the explosive "Terror Propaganda" of the young Swedish band CRAFT.

Ok, maybe you'll reproach them to have a certain lack of originality and innovation, because their old-school Black Metal will make you think of (among others) DARKTHRONE, but "Terror Propaganda" is so well made and built, and of such great quality, that you will forgive them straight away! And CRAFT is not one of those young rich kids' band who play music in order to act in a rebellious way. CRAFT have a real 'evil' feeling! The sound is necro as you like it, the singer Nox is really fucked up, the guitars are very basic but oh so efficient, and the complete packaging looks like early 90's underground stuff.

So all in all, it's been a long time since you've heard such a good true Black Metal album! This is a perfect hors d'oeuvre, that will enable you to wait for the next DARKTHRONE album... (Online October 29, 2002)
