Bribe - Bribed

The appropriately titled, "Bribed" is the debut EP from Italian Death Metalers BRIBE. What you get here is five straight up Brutal Death Metal songs clocking in at around 15 minutes in length. This seems pretty short, but assuming for a full length album they would put together 10-12 songs, it would be fine.

But onto the music. When I checked out the cover art for "Bribed," I immediately thought of CANNIBAL CORPSE. When I first heard the music, again I immediately thought of CANNIBAL CORPSE. I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing though, seeing as I’m a big fan of their older albums like "The Bleeding" and "Tomb Of The Mutilated." Needless to say, "Bribed" definitely reminded me of that stuff, a lot.

There’s no reinventing of the wheel here or anything experimental. Just straight up Brutal Death Metal played by four Italian guys who seem to know what they’re doing. If you’re into Death Metal, there’s no reason not to check these guys out. Hopefully they have a full length album in the works though.
