Wayne - Metal Church
After the METAL CHURCH-comeback had completely backfired with the gruesome "Masterpeace"-album, singer David Wayne tries his luck on his own, trying to wrest the hard-earned money out of the Metalheads' pockets. Yes, this is what I think "Metal Church" is! This is nothing more than a mediocre Metal-album.

Even the weakest METAL CHURCH-album "The Human Factor" is a masterpiece compared to this lame effort, as much as I had hated it. Sure, with "Nighmare Part II" , "Ballad For Marianne" and maybe also "Burning At The Stake" there are three good songs on this album, but the rest is not even worth mentioning. Especially this dark, modern guitar-sound almost makes me puke, takes away any dynamics!

When I look at the good old guitar on the cover, I have to think of the legendary debut. To compare this one with this "comeback-album" borders on blasphemy! Sad, but true, METAL CHURCH - rest in peace!
