Martyr - Warp Zone
MARTYR are yet another astonishing band that hail from the almighty Metal central of Quebec. I swear, it seems like all the good Metal bands come from Canada. I have heard many good things about this band before, but I wasn't able to fully experience them until now. All I have to say is, why didn't I find out about them sooner?!

I love the feeling you get, when a new CD enters your hands, especially if you have no earthly idea what to expect out of it. Everything comes as a complete surprise. If the album turns out to be a great one, then well, that makes it even better!

That is exactly how I felt when I heard "Warp Zone" for the first time. In a way I also felt previously deprived, for not taking the time to check them out before this point. I was down right ashamed of myself! There honestly was not one thing about this album that I could sit back and say, "I didn't really like this." It was pure Metal mayhem from start to finish!

If you haven't taken the time to check out this band, or even this album, I suggest you get off your duff, go CD shopping, and pick it up. Now. (Online May 7, 2003)
