Scalplock - Spread The Germs...Over The Human Worms
What a great false intro, nice soothing acoustic guitars and seaside effects. Well the intro has nothing to do with the strange combination of Grindcore, Punk, Death Metal and Hardcore which follows. SCALPLOCK are an intensely powerful, fast and heavy unit and demonstrate their extremity here in this blast beat filled half hour of pure intensity spanning 30 insane tracks.

Although usually I loathe anything even remotely Hardcore this album is actually pretty damn good. Not as heavy or low tuned as the Grindcore I usually listen to this album still has the intensity and aggression to match the more extreme Grindcore acts.

If political based punky Grindcore complete with shrieking vocals is your thing then don't hesitate to pick this one up. (Online February 15, 2003)
