Soul Demise - In Vain
After the very confidential "Beyond Human Conception", the Germans of SOUL DEMISE (known as INHUMAN in the past) are coming back to the assault with "In Vain", quite a good Death/Thrash Metal album that should please more than one of you.

Recorded at the Berno Studios, it has then a pretty good sound, and this CD is composed of eleven tracks, all at about the same level, and that will make you think of the referential, but sadly deceased, Swedish band AT THE GATES, even if they still haven't reached the level of those masters. The Thrash Metal aspects are quite numerous too, and can make you think of the other German band DEW-SCENTED, or of the good old NO RETURN.

It's still that Swedish Death Metal aspect that dominates the other ones here, and even if I have to admit that the word 'original' certainly means nothing to SOUL DEMISE, they know quite a lot about the words 'efficiency' and 'energy'. And as they have the use to tour a lot with big bands, hopefully we'll be able to see them on stage in our countries quite soon… and that will certainly be something interesting to see!
