Impious - The Deathsquad
Though "The Killer" has been released only a few months ago, the Swedish guys from IMPIOUS are back on the track with a brand new mini CD, that thy have certainly made mostly for them and for the die-hard fans, and not really for a very wide audience.

This mini CD contains then "The Deathsquad", taken from "The Killer", a new re-recorded version of "Extreme Pestilence" (the original could be found on their old album "Evilized"), a cover of METALLICA's "Trapped Under Ice", a cover of RUNNING WILD's "Soldiers Of Hell", a cover of MÖTLEY CRÜE's "Live Wire", and two demo tracks.

All that is quite easy to listen to, and even if I have to admit it's not a great mini CD, "The Deathsquad" is still leaving you with a sympathetic feeling, and you'll feel like giving it a second chance due to its good version of "Live Wire". Listen to it for the fun of it, and buy it if you're really a big fan or if you really enjoy such or such cover! (Online May 3, 2003)
