VILE has released a punishing debut to say the least. There are eight songs starting with a short intro and then just going straight to the brutal technicality on guitar by Colin Davis and Aaron Strong. Every song is brutal and has a lot of technical riffs drawn in with it, this is what makes this CD a great listen.
Juan Ortega's vocals are guttural, yet I am still able to listen to lyrics and follow along with what is written inside the cover. There are a lot of bands flooding the scene today and it's hard to distinguish the difference at times!
I am an avid fan of original content, VILE have the brutal technique and ability to keep a person listening until the end! It's hard to be original these days, but if anyone comes close I have to say this fresh debut will do it.
