Virulence - Dormant Strains
This is a four song-EP from VIRULENCE, a band hailing from Boston, Massachusetts.

I have to tell you I was really surprised at the offering I have here. Four really brutal and grudgy songs! The production is good, giving the guitars that are really crunchy and low sludge during the heavy, slower parts. Now I really love guttural vocals on Death Metal-songs, but sometimes brutal bands like this can take it too far. It's to the point where it is just a noise or sound rather than a sickening voice you know?

All in all though it still doesn't take away from the talent that is within this brutal bunch of Death Metallers. I believe that this release will garner a healthy spat of support, and that the next release will be much improved!
