Korum - Son Of The Breed
Being that this is my first listen to KORUM, I spent some time going to various sites to find out some more information on the band. One thing I noticed, on every single site I went to, the definition of their name was given. So, why break that chain? For those of you who have never heard of KORUM, or of that word for that matter, prepare to become more educated than you were two seconds ago.

KORUM: "A sufficient number of members of a deliberative body to have their own way and their own way of having it." You learn something new every day eh?

Bringing you in your face technical Death Metal all the way from Paris France, KORUM push brutality to its limits. "Son Of The Breed" wastes no time throwing you straight into the depths of disorder. All components on this album are eminent. Each track stands out in its own unique way, making it so you don't want to skip a single second. I can't even begin to pick my favourite, because if I did, I would just simply have to say, "Tracks one through ten." without any hesitation.

Sekhmet, you made yet another outstanding addition with this one! KORUM have definitely earned their designated spot amidst all of the various other great ones of the Metal world. (Online May 28, 2003)
