Imagika - ...And So It Burns

Bay Area-Thrash. That could just as well be the whole review, plus the rating.

But that would be too easy, so let's see. The sound of IMAGIKA is full of superheavy Thrash-grenades in combination with powerful riffs and just the right number of loosening melodies, with a production so forceful it nearly rips off your ears, courtesy of GRAVE DIGGER's Uwe Lulis.

No matter if you take "Chaos To Murder", "Fallen One" or the crunchy "Atrocity", the speedy "Hell" or "Annihilate", all have the right blasting sound you'll just hope for with a record of this style. Bay-Area-Thrash at its best, while the vocals are a little too monotonous over the whole album, in my opinion!!

After the last song there is a short break, followed by another piece in the IMAGIKA-style, but then it suddenly turns into an acoustic-version of "Knocking On Your Butthole"... Weird!
