Bright Ophidia - Coma

What is this? A Thrash band tries to win a prise for originality by Nu-Metal with Jazz/Fusion approaches? The PANTERA-like vocals don't fit into the music anyhow alike the interrupted DREAM THEATER Prog parts... Mister Mielko likes to play with his double bass, plays it otherwise pretty clumsy. Suspense factors are stalled.

BRIGHT OPHIDIA are too opaquely, nothing special. I can't take this strange mixture of aggression and technical play serious. They should rather decide themselves for one direction, the result would be something another than this pointless and nerving music, titled "Coma".

I didn't fall into coma, this music makes me rather angry! Angry about the fact, that this band of clowns receives a deal, while ingenious musicians like MURDER SHE WROTE or WARMACHINE drown into underground without any success! (Online July 12, 2003)
