Who doesn't own this masterpiece yet has to get it as soon as possible. The richness of mastermind Martin Schirenc, formerly with PUNGENT STENCH, is almost unlimited. The ethno-like orientation of the debut "Domus Mundi" has been replaced by a symphonic one. The foundation still is Death Metal, especially vocal-wise, but that's it. Fans of the super-brutal variant won't get too happy with this one for sure!
The songs all are pretty complex, but with all their details and weird ideas they always come to the point. If you really sit down and intensely listen to this album, then you will discover musical worlds that are plainly incredible. This album is highly addictive! I just cannot get over such divine compositions like "To Kingdom Come" or "Lords Of Bedlam" and those are only two of eight songs that you can only describe as brilliant! Imagine a similar style like THERION at "Theli" or "Lepaca Kliffoth", just more mature!
Add to that a very tasteful artwork, which does NOT show any naked chicks! Hey, we talk about Napalm Records! I am really amazed by the fact that the symphonic arrangements all are synthesizer-work! Kudos, I would never have thought that!
For me one of the absolute highlights of the year 2001! Divine stuff!
