Canada's heaviest are back again and the album-title is program, because once these 39 minutes are over you will beg, for mercy!
What those five guys present to us on "And Then You'll Beg" is ultra-heavy, brutal and immensely technical Death Metal that goes straight at your throat, they make no compromises and take no prisoners for sure.
Within this, CRYPTOPSY never run astray in the endless expanses of pure thrashing and stupendous, monotonous speed-orgies, but showcase a technical brilliance, which is manifested within the very complex song-structures. While "Shroud" is surprisingly melodic and the closing "Screams Go Unheard" is introduced by a two-minute didgeridoo-solo, this album shows non-stop high-tech, ultra-brutal Death Metal.
Musically not my cup of tea, but still, this is highest level!
Oh yes, and somebody should go and count, because I suspect that the drummer has a few extra-limbs, this is almost inhuman...
