Opus Forgotten - Demon Of Destruction
You don't encounter those very often anymore, a 7"-EP... OPUS FORGOTTEN are labelled as "Thundering Black Metal", and there is quite some thunder on these two tracks.

OK, the title-track starts out fast and cold, but still with the necessary bit of melody that you always like to hear. But still OPUS FORGOTTEN don't make the mistake of going full-speed from the beginning until the end, but also use slower passages, which contrast the fast parts very well. "Our Last Quest" is even more extreme in this split and also uses (if my ears haven't gone completely nuts yet) some violin, although not of the usual kind, but somehow - different...

OK, despite the violin they are not really original, not really matured yet, but still a good beginning, yet only time will tell, what they truly are capable of...
