Unleashed - Where No Life Dwells
The debut of Swedish UNLEASHED had been and still is a true work of cult. With their crystal-clear sound they nicely differed from the "crunchy" sound of the Sunlight-productions. Who knows the older stuff by ENTOMBED, GRAVE or DISMEMBER knows what I mean. For UNLEASHED a certain Waldemar Sorychta (DESPAIR, VOODOCULT and GRIP INC.) passed his test as producer, nowadays known for his works with THE GATHERING or TIAMAT.

With classics like "Before The Creation Of Time" or "Dead Again" the Northmen managed to create Death Metal-hymns for eternity. Unfortunately the level of this album, which also was covered by a great artwork, had not been reached again by the following eposes of UNLEASHED. So basically it'd be sufficient to get this one.

The sound has been re-mastered and enriched with a lot of bonus-material. Mostly this comprises of B-sides of some singles and EPs and samplers. If you really need these, I do not know, most already had been featured on the regular album. But the versions differ a little. Only "The Utter Dark Revenge" cannot already be found on the album itself.

All Death-lunatics, who have missed (?) this milestone can, no, have to finally get "Where No Life Dwells". I'll do another round of banging, arrrgh!
