This is definitely not a good idea to use as an album's name, the monicker of one of the worse French Black Metal bands… Anyway, this CENTINEX album is still quite a good surprise, even though it doesn't contain anything new. "Malleus Maleficarum" is in fact some sort of compilation regrouping their demos and some rare tracks, which allows you, among other stuff, to find on CD format, "Under A Blackened Sky" (containing an average cover of DEATH's "Mutilation"), a cover of KREATOR that appeared as a bonus on "Bloodhunt", and most of all, the demo "Transcend The Dark Chaos", that contains one of the best melodic Swedish Death Metal tracks ever written, with "Eternal Lies".
So here are twelve tracks of old-school half-melodic half-violent Swedish Death Metal, not very original, but that will still please the ones who love the first half of the 90's, and will also enable us to remember that at that time, CENTINEX used to play good shit, and were not boring as they now are.
