The first eight tracks are culled from the band’s excellent set at the Dynamo Festival and features renditions of some of their choicest cuts including “Art Nazi” and “The Wickedest Man In The World” plus my favourite Metal-anthem “The One Piece Puzzle”. The last four tracks are delightful; re-recorded acoustic numbers, which shows just how at home SKYCLAD are in the non-electric field.

My only complaint and it is minor, is the overall sound, especially on the live side, but in truth these guys are just so original and unique in the world of Metal that it doesn’t spoil the overall good vibe.

Clever, sarcastic, out on their own all describe the SKYCLAD-style and it will be interesting to see what direction they take now that Martin Walkyier has left the band.
