Grass - Ciudadano X
Despite the ominous name, GRASS do NOT play Stoner Rock, but still sound quite modern.

They combine modern guitars with melodic vocal-lines and don't limit themselves to a specific style, but take classic Rock and add some Grunge, modern sounds, rhythm-changes etc, but also some samples and slightly rappy passages can be found. Still they manage to give the songs some flow. One song that I think I really should mention is a truly outstanding cover-version of "Yesterday" by the BEATLES, I promise you, you haven't heard this song like that ever!

Still, even though their music is related to the sounds that this magazine has dedicated itself to, GRASS will only be for a fringe group I am not part of. But when you're in the right mood, you can listen to it nevertheless...
