Oh, oh! This Denver-based quartet doesn't go the easy way here... The opener "Diminished" (the best song by far!) clearly shows some NASTY SAVAGE-influences in the hectic riffing and the drum-work. The strange vocals don't really make it any easier for me to get into the following compositions. An obscure mixture of Death Metal, Thrash and jazzy and sometimes also Latino rhythms form the sound of IMMORTAL CRINGE.
I really got no clue, who shall buy that... Friends of such extravagant acts like CYNIC or ATHEIST could be the ones. Too strange for me, I admit that the material of IMMORTAL CRINGE just isn't my cup of tea. Yes, I know that they are technically highstanding, but that doesn't come to their rescue anymore!
