Up to now I never really got into W.A.S.P. and so I never was in closer contact with it. So I could approach the latest offering of Blackie Lawless and consorts pretty unbiased...
And what should I say? I like it. Beginning with the driving opener "Let It Roar" over the very intensive "Charisma" (both musically and lyrically) and "Who Slayed Baby Jane" (powerful with a very good chorus) up to the equally forceful "Raven Heart" Blackie delivers melodic Metal with his characteristic voice. You cannot say anything bad about the musicianship, the production is OK as well and the lyrics, as usual, will cause some controversy, especially "Unholy Terror" and "Charisma" will guarantee that...
Overall I can only recommend "Unholy Terror"...
