Sadus - Elements Of Anger
Ultra cool technical cyber-Death Metal from this American three-piece in the vein of DEATH, ATHEIST and CYNIC. "Elements Of Anger" is SADUS* best release to date with its superb mix (produced by Death Metal-god, Scott Burns) and unique ideas. SADUS is bass-god Steve DiGiorgio's (DEATH, CONTROL DENIED, TESTAMENT, and ICED EARTH) first band, so if you have ever heard his manic playing you know what you are in store for. Bass is definitely the featured instrument of this band and all the other members take a backseat. I don't think there is one other album in the universe that has better bass playing then on this one.

"Elements Of Anger" is a mesmerizing display of Death Metal-chops, often moving at dizzying tempos that speed is never a factor. The band opted for a technical sound that is purposely slow and the vocals reminding me of old SEPULTURA (screaming, but clear). This band lives in a science fiction-morbid reality with such strange riffing you will not believe your ears. Classic track is "Unreality" with its awesome intro and stop and go Metal-barrages on you brain (DiGiorgio putting on a bass-clinic for all of the world). Any self-respecting Metalhead should own this CD.
