From Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a 3-track-demo-CD has hit my mailbox, admittedly a while ago, but somehow it got a little lost in my "still-to-be-listened-to-pile" of CDs.
But anyway. The three short songs could be placed in the space between Death and Black Metal, with Death Metal being the solid base. The sound is OK for a demo, where it's still a bit bumpy are the compositions. They sound a bit raw here and there, but still show that the duo, which apparently is negotiating a contract with an American label, has the potential. The closing "Realms Of Conquest" with its melodic guitar-parts is the best of the bunch.
But despite the potential COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN should rather wait a bit before signing a contract, there are too many bands already, who got one too early in their evolution, they still need a little seasoning. Contact: Kevin Quirion, 1208 Naylor Ave., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, USA - E-Mail.
