Hey! That girl in the cover! She is the one from that ARTROSIS album! Seems we have a problem of look-alike covers here! Besides the familiar cover art, let's see what does LETAL SOLARIS from Chile offer us in this one song demo CD, the name of the song? "Black Tears". Duh.

"Black Tears" is your classic Gothic Metal song, Death Metal vocals and haunting female vocals duet, or like many say "Beauty and The Beast style", keyboards play a mayor role here, giving the song a nice atmosphere. The production is poor, but hey, this is only a demo, right now LETAL SOLARIS are working on their first full-length album and hopefully the production will be better and please check when you choose an album cover.

Is nice to know that South America has quality Gothic Metal bands, I was losing hope in my beloved continent. (Online December 6, 2003)
