Good Evening, Ladies & Gentlemen! I'd like to introduce you to one of the best self-productions of Germany! SENCIROW need not hide behind any highly praised US-band. Their metallic art rather sounds like what experts call US-Metal, but still has a certain Euro-Metal-touch!
The vocals are nicely rough and have got nothing to do with the eunuch-vocalists. The Polished Metal-heads might not like it, because it takes a while to get used to it, but I do, because Metal shall be rough and furious! SENCIROW with ease take these hurdles and speed ahead with the up-tempo-opener. "The Hermit" is the title of this gemstone, but has got nothing to do with the ATTACKER-classic, apart from being an equally great song. Then we get the wonderful "Daydream", which excels with best twin-guitars in best MAIDEN-manner. A "catchy" chorus presents us with a high memorability.
"Virtu@lity"'s title might hint at modern sounds, but no, no. Old-school is the law. With galloping riffs and super-melodic leads, this song, too, is just brilliant! "Judgement Day" even is a true classic-candidate! Divine these acoustic parts! With "Last Day Of Eden" the pedal is fully thrust to the metal again, the lead-vocals are done by Thorsten Ernst (Up to here Daniel Seifert had been on the mic). Also not bad, even though I personally prefer Seifert's voice. After that we get a varied instrumental in "3:42 Of Pain", which can follow up classics like "March Of The Crabs" (ANVIL) or "Merciless Onslaught" (METAL CHURCH). Then we get pure POWER METAL again!
"Wages Of Fear" is the song and, too, is a hammer! Just like "Vampire", which is introduced by dark bells and a goose-bump-delivering acoustic guitar. Wow, this killer is even a tad better than the rest and even now is one of my personal classics! This band is just plainly great! But they haven' shot their load completely yet, because closer "Dark Memories" gives all again. Finest Power-stuff to bang to! Again catching your attention is the great guitar-work, breath-taking.
SENIROW have released the best German self-production since a long time. They even beat the highly praised SOLEMNITY! And they, too, are anything but bad! The well produced long-player can be obtained for 12 Euros at bei: Daniel Seifert, Zur Talwiese 22, D-57334 Bad Laasphe, Germany. Go and get the great debut "Dreamscape" of 1999 with it.
