From the inexhaustible Swedish fund of Metal come RECLUSION, who are on their way to take the hearts of Thrash-lunatics! After their successful 99-demo "A Force Of One" they signed with the well-known Loud'N'Proud-label, only problem: they went belly up before anything could be released.
After a few high-calibre offers French extremists Listenable finally won the contract. The already recorded album was remixed and here we go. An album that is into the Neo-Thrash-direction and should enthuse fans of PANTERA, MACHINE HEAD up to THE HAUNTED! What makes RECLUSION so interesting are the traditional influences in the guitar-work, the many breaks and the dynamic play. Only the vocals fail to impress me, for my taste it's too expressionless.
But not bad for a debut, no, it is good. The guys haven't burnt their creative powder yet, I am sure! The competition in their home-country unfortunately is merciless! But I am sure that fans, who love more modern Thrash will love this album!
Well, I think that this band will make its way, if they persist!
