Band History - Twilight Prophecies (Online Dec. 2003)

Twilight Prophecies

The band TWILIGHT PROPHECIES (ex IRON CROW) has been founded in 1999 by Pierre Kaser, Florian Bauer, Patrick Kaser and Björn Will. Before releasing anything a few line up changes took place. Patrick Kaser left the band early 2001 because of lack of time and his brother Pierre followed one year later because of musical differences. During this time the brothers Jan and Marco Prüssing joined and completed today's line-up.

When Pierre Kaser left the band, they decided to change the name, it's just been fair to do so. In summer 2002 the demo "Liveattack" was recorded at the Woodstock Open Air in Ronshausen. They decided to release it as they did not have the money for a studio recording. That the sound would bring some criticism to the band was clear, but they managed to leave a good "business card", which has been confirmed by reviews in some magazines such as "Legacy", "The Metal Observer", "Bleeding for Metal" etc.

Gigs with AGATHODAIMON, CORROSIVE, LACRIMA CHRISTI, MY COLD EMBRACE etc. followed in 2002 and 2003, more gigs (a.o. with TOTENMOND) are confirmed for autumn 2003.
