GRAND MAGUS hail from Sweden. They have a singer who can wail like Dickinson, growl like Halford and swagger like Coverdale. They play monstrously heavy guitar riffs that groove, rattle and roll like those of Doom legends KYUSS and KARMA TO BURN.

They are unashamedly Heavy Metal and ‘’Monument’’ rocks.

Call them Stoner Rock, call them Doom Metal, call these Metallic messiahs what you damn well wish but GRAND MAGUS are a rare breed of musicians who offer nothing new but deliver some of the most crushing, bulldozing riffs that you’ll hear this year or any other year for that matter.

GRAND MAGUS are not re-inventing the wheel. They sound like BLACK SABBATH although lead singer JB is a class all of his own compared to Ozzy but with infectious workouts like ‘’Ulvaskall (Vargr)’’, ‘’Brotherhood Of Sleep’’ and the awesome ‘’Baptised In Fire’’ all paying homage to the Godfathers of Heavy Metal GRAND MAGUS can be forgiven for their plagiarism.

So if you like riffs that could shake satellites out of orbit look no further than GRAND MAGUS.
