The Italians of CONSPIRACY A.D. deliver a crushing killer album. Fans of the deadliest Metal ever, please pay attention!!!! This band, which was unknown to me until today, founded already in 1999 as a Metalcore band. In 2000, they released a Mini-CD called “The Day Of Burning Souls” via the Italian Hardcore Independent VacationHouseRecords. Not until 2001 they developed their sound into a more Death Metal direction. In September 2002, CONSPIRACY A.D. got the chance to support VADER, KRISIUN and DECAPITATED on their Italian tour, where they could prove their live qualities for a live audience.

The studio, where this album was finally recorded, was already booked, but they had to wait for their favourite producer Paso (EPHELDUATH, SISTHEMA, HANDFULOFHATE, ADDICTION, BROWBEAT...)... then they recorded this “Humanity = Destruction (…The End Is Near)” killer album, an album, which wonderfully captured aggression, brutality and energy. I had never expected such an intensive, brutal CD from an Italian band. They subtly poising between Death and Thrash and deliver an absolutely deadly masterpiece. I get absolutely no comparison in my mind – it’s pretty diversified but still superevil without being primitively. Death Metal lunatics, which rather prefer the US direction and also like the good, old Thrash Metal sound, should check this out. Otherwise you might miss something. (Online March 23, 2004)
