I know. "Subterraneal Magnitude", their precedent album, has been released only a few weeks ago, and here comes already "Vengeance Ascending". So let me please insist on one point, this is in no way an album containing demos, rare or live tracks, but their brand new studio album, coming very close after the last one due to licence changes.
Anyway we don't give a shit about those problems. DIABOLIC is one of the best Death Metal-bands in the world, that makes us forget the death of ANGEL CORPSE, and they can release ten albums in a year if they feel like it. Anyway, "Vengeance Ascending" is even better than "Subterraneal Magnitude" (that's possible, yes!), still between MORBID ANGEL and ANGEL CORPSE, and kicks some ass.
By the way, their drummer Aantar is very impressive, very fast on double-bass, and very precise, too… Maybe it's because of that that they've given the best place in the mix to the drums, sadly giving less room to the guitars, who would have deserved a better treatment.
But that's all good anyway! Simply, next time, also give a huge sound to the guitars, guys!
