Gadget - Remote

Thereís something about this particular genre that always catches my attention. I guess you could say that itís one of my favourites in general. Brutality and mayhem, along with complete and utter chaos are all things that draw me to the Grindcore scene. GADGET is no exception. They are definitely not lacking in any of the aforementioned things and on top of all that, they manage to bring even more to the table.

The twenty-nine minutes this CD was in rotation, were the fastest twenty-nine minutes of my life. GADGET deliver one hell of a punch with this debut. Just when you think youíre getting a break from all of the fast paced insanity, youíre forced to think twice. I know I was at least. Then again, I didnít want them to let up anyway.

Everything on this album is exceptional, from the blasting drums right down to the killer throat stripping vocals. I highly recommend this album to all fans of Grind and I suggest that you donít let this one slip through your fingers. (Online July 22, 2004)
