KAYAH, hailing from Seinäjoki, Western Finland, has accomplished a lot over the past years. KAYAH’s music is it's own, special and something new. The band has combined in their music in a perfect way the Pop, Rock and Gothic heavy-sounds. All members of KAYAH are talented young musicians, led by a beautiful and powerful-voiced singer Henna Haapamäki. Henna is also known in Finland from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Aspects Of Love”, in which her co-star was one of the most popular singer in Finland, Jari Sillanpää.

Since 1998, KAYAH’s hard work has payed off. The band has had a lot of gigs all over Finland, including performances in one of the biggest Rock festivals in Finland. Their greatest achievement so far was in spring 2002, when KAYAH was voted by the citizens of Finland amongst the six best groups out of 810 competitors, in the most famous Rock championship of Finland, “Rock SM”. Due to this great success, KAYAH have had lots of airplay time in the radios and their song “Try” was included in collection CD “Rock SM” of the best songs of Rock championship 2002.

KAYAH has released four singles since 1998. During the time the band has developed and found their own unique style, as their new single “Save You” proves. In the future, KAYAH will work hard to get more airplay time, gigs in and out of Finland and most importantly to get the recording deal.
