BEYOND THE VOID was born on New Year's Day 2000. Six experienced and very individual musicians united under one concept, to create a new, modern style: Goth Rock for the Modern Age, their own and peculiar interpretation of modern melancholic Rock music.
With the veterans Daniel Pharos, Dominik Morgenroth, Martin Tapparo & Rudolf Pfaffenzeller, the band had access to four able composers. The material was to convince and to please the high standards of the band. With this clear intention, the band set out to create high level music.
October 2003, the band released their Mini CD “The Infinite Eye”. Two of the three titles that were hosted at MP3.de, Europe's largest MP3 platform, were elected song of the day. The opener “Through The Dark” soon reached the highest possible download ranking.
Among their live performances is the Guiness Book of Records Festival Theatron, headliner of the Seeon Festival and the Radio Dunkle Welle Halloween Party 2003 and the support for Cinema Strange, US Goth Stars.
On the 24th of May, the highly anticipated debut album “Our Somewhere Else” will be released by Transformer Records, distributed by Omniamedia/Rough Trade. The recordings happened at Munich's major studio Downtown Studios and were supervised by Jochen Scheffter (worked with GOETHES ERBEN, ENGEL WIDER WILLEN), mastered by Hubsi Widmann (SCHANDMAUL, FAUN). The contained tracks are the premium core of over 30 songs prepared for the album.
While the promotion of “Our Somewhere Else” is up and running, with various gigs and festivals on the way, the band is already deep in the work on the concept of album #2.
