Grand Trick, The - The Decadent Session

Ď70s inspired Rock from Sweden? Yeap and it rules. THE GRAND TRICK has released this 3 song promo in order to get label or press attention, I believe. Itís effective, because the three songs on this thing just are great.

THE GRAND TRICK is a Ď70s inspired Hard Rock band. This is how Rock was meant to be played, as opposed to the crap thatís popular today. A hint of DEEP PURPLE, some URIAH HEEP, LED ZEPPELIN (not their long, drawn out stuff) with a more upbeat feel is what this band plays. The riffs are simple yet catchy, with hooks galore and the choruses will just attach themselves to your brain and not let go.

If there was any justice on this planet, this bandís popularity would have skyrocketed (Iím talking to the same level as LED ZEPPELIN), because the music on this promo is VERY catchy and I can picture anybody liking this, because the music on this album is fun. This album is the one where you can just put for a while and feel better because of how it just takes your worries away.

This band needs more recognition. (Online March 29, 2005)
