Continuing their recent Metalcore venture, Metal Blade bring you INTO THE MOAT, a much more hard hitting act than previous Metalcore releases by the label.

If any type of Metalcore is to be pushed to the forefront, this is the type. Reminiscent of some of the more violent Metalcore bands out there as opposed to the countless Hardcore inspired AT THE GATES rip offs, INTO THE MOAT display a much more frantic style combined with dizzying technical ability. The vocalist utilizes a much deeper, throatier vocal approach in comparison to what is traditionally viewed as standard Metalcore vocals, seasoned with the occasional scream, adding to the viciousness of the release.

While INTO THE MOAT are far from the most extreme that Metalcore has to offer, they’re still worth mentioning within the genre and could easily develop a buzz. (Online April 25, 2005)
