Demonlord - Helltrust

DEMONLORD from Hungary have also been around for some years already, since 1997 to be exact. But they play neither Death nor Black Metal, which you could think because of the name. You rather get to hear “Classic Metal” from the intersection between IRON MAIDEN, MANOWAR, HELLOWEEN or RUNNING WILD.

Solidly instrumented, usefully sung, but yet rather unspectacular, for too predictable. The great ideas or the certain something that still attests a spark of originality are lacking completely. In fact you can’t complain about the album technically speaking, except for the fact that there are possibly hundreds of bands from the same category out there. Nice album, really…But who wants nice?
