I’ve tried numerous ways to start this review, but nothing felt right. Being diplomatic didn’t work, being humorous didn’t work and being sarcastic didn’t work, so I’m opting for the direct approach. Here goes:

This is nothing more than simple cock waving by a bunch of white guys that are trying to act like those rappers you see on TV. You know the type. Chauvinistic, materialistic, talking about how they are the kings of the world, yadda, yadda. It seems like they’re extremely insecure in their masculinity, so they have to portray this tough guy image in order to hide all of their perceived inadequacies.

Now, take those mindless, tasteless Rap lyrics, full of juvenile humour and violent attitudes that are all just talk and play down-tuned Metal riffs under the rapping. Repetitive, boring, annoying riffing that just plods on forever without any melody whatsoever with rapping that is done for stroking the band’s ego more than anything is not worthy of anybody’s time.

Why the hell would anyone want to hear this shit? It’s the worst of Metal mixed with the worst of Rap. (Online June 16, 2005)
