Thanatos - Emerging From The Netherworlds
THANATOS, THANATOS, wasn't there something... Some will ask themselves just that. Correct! Ten years ago, the Dutch THANATOS crashed into the scene with their debut, even though the impression they had left seemed not to have been too deep with the fans.

But now the Hammerheart-sub-label Unveiling The Wicked has re-released "Emerging From The Netherworlds" as appetizer for the following new studio-album "Angelic Encounters" (planned for summer), completely re-mastered and enhanced with eight bonus-tracks (off the demos).

A heavy mixture of quite technical Death Metal and Thrash Metal is offered here, something that just ain't my cup of tea, but you know that already, I guess... But still I have to say that the band really mastered their instruments even back then and the song-structures, with all their complexity, remain clear.

For all who missed THANATOS back then, this is a good occasion to discover the band (again), the potential is there!
