Hellfueled - Born II Rock

Unfortunately I'm a little disappointed by the second HELLFUELED album! Nevertheless it hasn't become a bad album. Though I slightly miss the doomy guitars and such grenades such as “Midnight Lady“ or “Rock N' Roll“? At least the OZZY touch is extant, this time the “Ultimate Sin“ & “No Rest For The Wicked“ phase comes to my mind with a phat poser Metal touch!

But the guitar really bellows in best Zakk Wylde manner that it's a true delight. Additionally there is a nearly perfect production that really bangs like hell! Songs like “Friend“ with an ingenious Flamenco part or the cool opener “Can't Get Enough“ and especially “Old“ are really top notch but can't top the highlights of the debut. In between there is quite strong song material but one or another dragging track, too.

Nevertheless the disk stands out of the usual releases by light-years, the originality indeed is at zero but the fun factor is huge! That counts and purely technically the album is perfect! (Online January 19, 2006)
