I’m not just saying this because I’m biased towards my own awesome country, but Australia has some of the best Grindcore bands going around. With the second demo release by up and coming Melbourne boys SUPER FUN HAPPY SLIDE, there is yet another quality Grindcore band that can be added to the list.

The band play a brand of self proclaimed ‘Super fun catchy grindcore’, which is a pretty good way to sum up their sound. The first track “Fuck...I Just Copped A Beer Bottle To The Head!!” starts of with a goddamn annoying sample of planes flying over-head, but once that is finished the grinding begins. Although the demo is relatively short (less that 9 minutes), by the time it is over you will be wanting to listen to it again...and again. While writing this review I’ve listened to it 4 times in a row and enjoyed it more with each spin.

People within Europe and Australia can get there hands on this demo quite easily by following the instructions on SFHS’s website, but for the rest of you your just gonna have to wait until their next release. (Online February 16, 2006)
