DAWN OF PERCEPTION are hailing from the nice state of Thuringia, Germany and play a really appealing mixture of Death Metal in the first place, with very melodic runs and proggy breaks. That said, they also inject traditional MAIDEN-like aspects, and the result is quite listenable. Even though they are still able to improve production-wise, you can quite be excited by the five songs plus a lengthier intro. They definitely have good ideas and are able to play. We will see if it is enough for a complete long player (which is already being planned). I think they are capable of producing a good debut album, though! (Online May 4, 2006)
