Bullet - Speeding In The Night

A pretty cool EP is what the Swedes from BULLET (not to be mistaken with the homonymous Heavies from Germany) have accomplished. Our five guys indulge, like so many other bands too, in the sound of old JUDAS PRIEST and approach this style from the typically German side. In other words this means that the guys are making no bones about it, the songs display no bombastic choirs/choruses, but they still stick to your ears. That is really cool music, in the plain art of the early 80’s, which sets a party on fire any time.

The songs, no matter if the speedy “Breaking Bones” with its cool riff attacks, the thickly rocking “Heavy Metal Highway”, blessed with a real ear-candy chorus or the AC/DC like masher “Leather Love” provide huge fun and actually that is what matters in the end. Add to that a singer who sounds like a blend of Brian Johnson (AC/DC), Lothar Antoni (TRANCE) and Lt. Fred Fist (FRACTURE) and there you go. Especially the fans of the bands mentioned above will have fun listening to BULLET. Or even the TYRAN PACE fraction. Or the… the common Metallicus Germanicus knows for sure by now.
